Afternoon Jeep safari in Dhikala zone / Stay in Dhikala FRH

Reach Ram Nagar of your own. At around 11:00 am, Pick up by our jeep & start for Dhikala Zone. Enter Dhikala zone via Dhangarhi gate of Corbett national park. Reach your forest rest house passing through the dense sal forests and grasslands inhabiting wide range of wildlife at Corbett national park. Check in to room. Lunch at rest house. In the evening go for jeep safari around Dhikala zone of Corbett National Park. Dinner and overnight stay at rest house

Early morning start for morning jeep safari in the grasslands of Dhikala, Corbett national park. Check out from room. After safari, move out of jungle via Dhangari gate. On the way visit crocodile point and high bank. Drop at ram nagar for your onward journey with sweet memories of your tour.
Things to know about Forest Rest House
  • Accommodation / Electricity / Water supply / Housekeeping / other services are provided by forest department. We do not hold any responsibility in case any of the above is not up to the mark. We are just tour operators and enhance booking procedure for the rest house.
  • Other than Dhikala forest rest house, all the rest houses are do not have electricity. Power is provided by generators up till 10 pm.
  • In Dhikala zone, there are rest houses like Dhikala, Gairal, Sarapduli and sultan
  • There is option of dormitory available at Gairal, Dhikala and Bijrani rest house. In case someone is looking for economical option, dormitory can be provided.
  • Most of the rooms in the forest rest house are different from each other and varies in size and space
  • Liquor and Non Vegetarian food are strictly prohibited inside forest
  • All canteens at forest rest house serves only Veg meals although some canteen serves egg in breakfast
  • Rooms at all rest house inside Corbett national park are non air conditioned
  • Canteen facility is available at Dhikala, Gairal and Bijrani rest house only
  • Only at Dhikala FRH rooms have fan and washroom comprises geyser
  • Nearest medical facility is at Ramnagar it takes 3 to 4 hours to reach Ramnagar from Dhikala rest house. So guests are suggested to carry necessary basic medication with them.
  • There is no facility of mosquito net, wheelchair, repellent, baby diaper, baby food inside national park. Kindly carry required items from outside

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing any government department. We offer complete Dhikala Forest Rest House packages including accommodation, transfers, guides, and safaris. We do not sell standalone room permits or safari permits. Our package pricing includes our ground handling and service charges. Travelers looking for room-only permits or who prefer not to pay service charges can apply directly through the official Corbett Tiger Reserve website.

Night stay permits for Forest Rest Houses are a vital part of every package. All official night stay permits and entry permissions are issued and regulated exclusively by Corbett Tiger Reserve via their official portal (corbettgov.org) as per their rules, availability, and booking schedules. We are not directly affiliated with the official administration of Corbett Tiger Reserve or the Uttarakhand Forest Department.  

Corbett Tiger Reserve does not issue special certifications, authorizations, or exclusive permissions to private travel agencies, tour operators, VIP travelers, or individual guests—including any preferential treatment or special access to book night stay permits. All travelers (whether VIP or general public) and tour operators share the exact same access to the official booking portal. 

2. Booking Request and Confirmation

Advance Reservation Request

Guests may submit advance reservation requests for future travel dates, including dates for which the official online booking window for night stay permit may not yet have opened.Submission of a request or payment of an advance amount does not constitute a confirmed booking.

3. Confirmation of Dhikala Forest Rest House Package

A Dhikala Forest Rest House Package shall be considered confirmed only when:

  1. The required Forest Rest House night stay permit has been successfully booked through the official booking system, and
  2. Written confirmation has been issued by The Indian Voyage to the guest.

Guests are advised not to make non-refundable travel arrangements such as flight or train bookings until they receive written confirmation.

4. Authorisation to Process Your Booking

By submitting a booking request and making payment, you authorise The Indian Voyage, a unit of Green View Voyage Pvt. Ltd., to act on your behalf and attempt to secure the required Dhikala Forest Rest House night stay permit, jeep and driver allocation, transport allocation and related travel services.

We will make reasonable efforts to complete the booking process; however, successful confirmation for Dhikala  Forest Rest House Package cannot be guaranteed.

5. Reasons Dhikala Forest Rest House Package Confirmation May Not Be Possible

As mentioned above, securing a night stay permit for a forest rest house is a vital part of the Forest Rest House Package. Multiple factors govern the successful booking of a night stay permit, including:

  • High demand and limited availability.
  • Limited room inventory.
  • Multiple users attempting bookings simultaneously.
  • Technical issues or server errors on official booking portals.
  • Changes in government regulations or booking procedures.
  • Restrictions or guidelines imposed by Corbett Tiger Reserve or the Uttarakhand Forest Department.

If we are unable to secure the requested permit, the booking request shall remain unconfirmed, and the refund provisions outlined in these terms shall apply.

6. Package Pricing and Inclusions

The packages offered by The Indian Voyage are comprehensive travel service packages and may include:

  • Official government permit charges.
  • Forest Rest House accommodation charges.
  • Reservation assistance.
  • Booking facilitation services.
  • Jeep/Gypsy charges.
  • Guide charges.
  • Trip coordination.
  • Customer support before and during travel.

Our package pricing is not limited only to government permit charges.

Guests who wish to pay only government-prescribed charges without travel facilitation services may choose to book directly through the official Corbett Tiger Reserve booking portal ( https://corbettgov.org/)

7. Payment Terms

  • Advance payment or full payment may be required depending on the booking requirements.
  • A booking request will be processed only after receipt of the applicable payment.
  • Payment does not guarantee confirmation until the official night stay permit successfully booked by The Indian Voyage (Unit of Green View Voyage Private Limited)
  • All payments made to The Indian Voyage are subject to these Terms & Conditions and applicable cancellation policies.

8. Refund Policy

A. For Unconfirmed Bookings :

We make every reasonable effort to book your  Dhikala Forest Rest House Package in Dhikala zone.

If we are unable to book the required forest rest house package, The Indian Voyage Unit of Green View Voyage Private Limited will refund 100% of the advance amount received for the booking request, without any deductions.

The refund will be processed through the original mode of payment or any other mutually agreed payment method within the applicable refund processing period.

Important Notes
  • This policy applies only when we are unable to confirm the booking due to the non-availability of forest rest house night stay permits or a failure to secure night-stay permits through the official Corbett Tiger Reserve booking system, as night-stay permits are a primary part of the package for Forest Rest House in Dhikala zone.
  • A refund under this policy is applicable only for the advance amount paid towards the unconfirmed booking request.
B-Cancellation and Refund Policy for Confirmed Bookings :

Once a Forest Rest House package  has been successfully confirmed, cancellations and refunds will be governed by our below Cancellation & Refund Policy. In the event of cancellation by the guest, the following cancellation charges shall apply:

  1. Cancellation Before Permit Booking
  • If the Forest Rest House Package is cancelled before the forest rest house night stay   permit is booked, 15% of the total package amount will be retained as cancellation charges, and the remaining 85% will be refunded.
  • The retained amount covers the administrative costs, itinerary planning, consultation, date blocking, and booking efforts undertaken by our team.

2. Cancellation After Night Stay Permit Booking (More Than 10 Days Before Arrival)

  • If the Forest Rest House package  is cancelled after the night stay permit for Forest Rest House  has been booked but more than 10 days prior to the arrival date, 70% of the total package amount will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • The guest will be eligible for a 30% refund of the total package amount.

3. Cancellation Within 10 Days of Arrival

  • If the booking is cancelled within 10 days of the scheduled arrival date, 90% of the total package amount will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • The guest will be eligible for a 10% refund of the total package amount.
Important Notes:
  • Forest Rest House night stay permit fees are governed by the Corbett Tiger Reserve and Uttarakhand Forest Department and are non-refundable once booked, irrespective of the reason for cancellation.
  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or WhatsApp and will be effective only upon acknowledgement by our team.
  • Refunds, wherever applicable, will be processed within 3-5 working days to the original mode of payment after deducting applicable cancellation charges.
  • No refund will be applicable in case of no-show, early departure, or unused services.

9. Guest Responsibilities

Guests are responsible for :

  • Providing accurate personal information.
  • Providing correct identification details required for permits.
  • Carrying original identity documents during travel.
  • Following forest department rules and regulations.
  • Maintaining respectful behaviour towards staff, wildlife, and other visitors.

Guests shall be responsible for any damage caused by them to property or facilities.

10. Forest Rest House and Safari Conditions

Accommodation services at Forest Rest House in Dhikala Zone of Corbett Tiger Reserve, including:

  • Rooms
  • Electricity
  • Water supply
  • Housekeeping
  • Sanitation
  • Canteen facilities

are managed exclusively by the Corbett Tiger Reserve/Uttarakhand Forest Department.

The Indian Voyage does not control these facilities and shall not be responsible for service quality, interruption, or changes made by government authorities.

11. Important Guest Advisory

Meals

Dhikala Forest Rest House canteens provide vegetarian meals. Some locations may provide eggs during breakfast depending on availability and forest department arrangements.

Non-Air-Conditioned Accommodation

Dhikala Forest Rest House rooms inside Corbett Tiger Reserve are non-air-conditioned.

Entry Restrictions

The Corbett Tiger Reserve/Uttarakhand Forest Department reserves the right to:

  • Refuse entry.
  • Cancel permits.
  • Modify rules.
  • Restrict access.

The Indian Voyage has no control over such decisions.

Health Advisory

Travel inside Corbett Tiger Reserve involves forest roads that may be rough and uneven.

Guests with the following conditions should consult their doctor before travelling:

  • Pregnancy.
  • Back, neck, or spinal problems.
  • Serious medical conditions requiring urgent medical care.
  • Conditions affected by long journeys on uneven roads.
Mobile Network and Internet

Mobile connectivity and internet access inside the reserve are limited. Wi-Fi facilities are generally unavailable.

Facilities Not Available

Guests should carry required personal items as the following may not be available:

  • Mosquito repellents
  • Mosquito nets
  • Baby food
  • Baby diapers
  • Wheelchairs
  • Personal medical supplies
Wildlife Environment

Forest Rest Houses are located within a wildlife habitat. Wild animals may enter surrounding areas.

Guests must:

  • Avoid feeding animals.
  • Keep food items secured.
  • Follow safety instructions.

12. Wildlife Safari Risk

Wildlife safaris and forest stays involve natural risks associated with protected forest environments.

Guests participate at their own responsibility.

The Indian Voyage shall not be liable for:

  • Wildlife encounters.
  • Accidents.
  • Injuries.
  • Delays.
  • Natural events.
  • Actions of government authorities.
  • Circumstances beyond reasonable control.

13. Force Majeure

The Indian Voyage shall not be responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Floods.
  • Heavy rainfall.
  • Landslides.
  • Forest fires.
  • Epidemics or pandemics.
  • Government restrictions.
  • Civil disturbances.
  • Natural disasters.
  • Closure of forest areas.

Refunds or cancellations in such circumstances shall be governed by applicable government rules and booking conditions.

15. Changes to Terms

The Indian Voyage reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of India.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India.
